Eligibility for Admission to B.Ed. (CET)

The admission to B.Ed. full time regular course is done through Central Admission Process conducted by Government of Maharashtra.

Candidates with at least 50 % marks either in the Bachelor Degree( three year program) in B.A, B.Com , B.Sc or 50% (49.50-49.99%) in post graduation and for the reserved category (ST, SC, OBC, VJNT 1,2,3 ) 45% (44.50-44.99%) will be eligible for CET . For Management , Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, Agriculture, BBI, Pharmacy, Law, Fine art Performing arts, Music, Dance, Drama with 55% marks at graduation or post graduation will be eligible for open category and for reserved category 50%. Any other qualification equivalent thereof is eligible for admission to the programme. b) The reservation and relaxation for SC/ ST / OBC / PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Government / State Government, whichever is applicable.

Special Note Candidates who are born in Maharashtra or domiciled in Maharashtra and have Graduated from the University within the State of Maharashtra will only be considered as Maharashtra State Candidate

The Candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree recognized as an equivalent degree by the Government of Maharashtra, to the Bachelor’s Degree and / or Master’s Degree in subjects mentioned in (i) and (ii) above.

OR
The candidate should have passed any Bachelor’s Degree given by Open University Incorporated by an act of the Central or State Legislature.

OR
The candidate should be appeared for the Final Year Examination of any Bachelor’s Degree awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature or declared to be Deemed University under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956.

Educational Qualification for Outside Maharashtra State Candidates (All India Candidature and J&K Migrant Candidates:-

The Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed any Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate degree awarded by any of the Universities in corporate by an Act of the Central or State Legislature or declared to be Deemed University under section 3 of the UGC Act,1956 of Minimum
3 years duration of Any Discipline recognized by the Association of the Indian Universities, or possess an equivalent Qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India/NCTE with Minimum 55% Marks for all Categories all Subjects and all Faculties.

Special Note:-Candidates who are not born in Maharashtra or domiciled in Maharashtra and have Graduated from the University within the State of Maharashtra will be considered as OMS/ All India Candidate.
